WSC - Wenonah Swim & Dive Team Registrations - THIS SATURDAY!!!!!

(Note: I could use a few volunteers to give me a hand on Saturday from 8:30-12.  Let me know if you can make it.  Even if only for a couple of hours. Thanks.)

Wenonah Swim & Dive Team Registrations will be held this Saturday, May 11th at Holy Trinity Church in Wenonah from 9 am to Noon.  We will be in the meeting room on the left as you enter the building.  The church is located at 11 N. Monroe Ave in Wenonah, but the entrance is on Poplar St.

Registration Fees are $85 for the first swimmer/diver and $80 each for the rest of the clan.  You can prepay online (discounted until May 11th!) at www.wenonahswimclub.com.  Make sure you email me or bring a copy of your registration invoice on Saturday, so I have a record of your payment.  You still need to sign the registration paperwork on May 11th plus, D&Q will be at registrations.  We have a NEW team suit (it is a two year suit) and they will be available.  They will also have discounted suits, equipment, accessories, etc...

Team Swim Caps (any Wenonah style) will be mandatory at meets this year.  Also, we are also offering personalized Team Swim Caps through D&Q.  This will make it much easier to find your swimmer in the crowd at the meets!  The cost will be partially subsidized by the team, so take advantage.  There is a minimum purchase of two caps, but since the caps only have the last name, families can order less than two per swimmer and keep the cost down.  Regular team caps will be available too.

If you can't make it to registrations...
     A)  And your child registered last year, just send in a check or pay online, email me their t-shirt sizes, and I'll have another date soon after registration where you can come to sign the paperwork.
     B)  If this is your child's first year on the team, please send in a check (or pay online) with the attached form filled out.  Don't forget the T-Shirt size and every family should check off at least one volunteer box on the form. I need to have all checks/registrations in by May 20th.

NO NEED TO FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK IF YOUR CHILD SWAM LAST YEAR, UNLESS YOUR INFO HAS CHANGED!  I'LL HAVE FILLED OUT REGISTRATION FORMS ON SATURDAY.  ALL YOU'LL NEED TO DO IS UPDATE THEM AND SIGN!

 

IF PAYING ONLINE, I MUST HAVE A COPY(EMAILED OR PAPER) OF YOUR INVOICE FOR MY RECORDS ON SATURDAY.

Connie Han has offered to compile family photo CDs for $25.00 as a fundraiser for the team.  If you didn't get one last year, you missed out!  Well worth it, since she takes professional quality pics of your kids in action and just hanging out with the team!

Wenonah Energy - 2012 Swim & Dive Team Golf Outing

Spring is here, the Masters are on TV, and the Wenonah Swim & Dive Team is looking for Golfers and Sponsors for the 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Pitman Golf Course.  Each year has been better than the one before and that trend will continue.  Although it all benefits the kids, we adults need a day on the course as we get ready for another summer swim season.  In addition to golfers, we are in need on sponsors and volunteers.  This is our primary fundraiser for the summer swim and dive season, so I am asking every Wenonah Swim & Dive Team family to help out in one way or another.

Please golf, get friends and family to golf, get a sponsor, donate, or volunteer and help us make this summer a great one for your swimmers and divers!

Hurricane Irene

Good morning Wenonah Swim Club Members,

 

As you know, Hurricane Irene is fast approaching with high winds and heavy rain in the forecast. We are taking steps to secure the Swim Club to minimize any potential damage. As part of that effort, the Swim Club will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, as our furniture and related equipment will be stowed and secured by our staff today.

 

We appreciate your understanding, and wish for all of our members families to remain safe over the weekend. The club will re-open as soon as conditions are safe, and we will keep you posted.
