Wenonah Energy - 2012 Swim & Dive Team Golf Outing

Spring is here, the Masters are on TV, and the Wenonah Swim & Dive Team is looking for Golfers and Sponsors for the 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Pitman Golf Course.  Each year has been better than the one before and that trend will continue.  Although it all benefits the kids, we adults need a day on the course as we get ready for another summer swim season.  In addition to golfers, we are in need on sponsors and volunteers.  This is our primary fundraiser for the summer swim and dive season, so I am asking every Wenonah Swim & Dive Team family to help out in one way or another.

Please golf, get friends and family to golf, get a sponsor, donate, or volunteer and help us make this summer a great one for your swimmers and divers!

ALL QUESTIONS, PAYMENTS, REQUESTS AND SPONSORS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO RUD AND BRIAN WHO ARE CC'ed ABOVE.  THE FLYER HAS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS WELL.

Hurricane Irene

Good morning Wenonah Swim Club Members,

 

As you know, Hurricane Irene is fast approaching with high winds and heavy rain in the forecast. We are taking steps to secure the Swim Club to minimize any potential damage. As part of that effort, the Swim Club will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, as our furniture and related equipment will be stowed and secured by our staff today.

 

We appreciate your understanding, and wish for all of our members families to remain safe over the weekend. The club will re-open as soon as conditions are safe, and we will keep you posted.

Golf Outing Fundraiser - RESULTS

On behalf of the Wenonah Swim and Dive Team, I would like to thank Dave Rucci, Rud Porter, and Brian Briggs for all their hard work and dedication to this year's golf outing.  Their efforts (along with everyone's generosity and contributions) raised over $4,000 for the Swim and Dive Team.  We will use the money to supplement our coaches salaries, buy the team gifts for the kids, and get some new equipment for both the swim team and the dive team.  This year's outing was amazing and a great time was had by all...except those that left their putt SHORT in front of 30-40 people at the putting contest!  I would also like to thank CJ Sprigman and Connie Han for volunteering their time and energy as well.  Dave and Brian started this event last year and based on this year's success, I'm sure it will become a long lasting Wenonah tradition that benefits our kids for years to come.  Thanks very much guys!

Golf Outing Friday - Sign In 7:30am (Golfers Needed!)

Check in time is 7:30 am with tee off at 8:00 am!
